January is flying by. .. .

... and February is almost here!

Hi everyone!
I am really trying to keep up with my promise of updating here more regularly. I missed last week but I was busy working.  . .
on Valentines! I know it seems far away but in two weeks it will be here! January just flew by.
Here are the valentine's I came up with this year for the holiday:

I was super happy with how they came out! And it was fun to do some painting that was pretty simple. The hearts were the most fun to paint because even though I did sketch them out before hand, I didn't transfer the sketches or meticulously follow a pattern. I just painted which was very refreshing.
The best part is you can buy one or all of them on my etsy store!

So that is what I have been up to. I have gotten a little better about sketching something everyday even if it is just a squiggly pattern. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll have updated my website and I can share that with you.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I can't believe Christmas is only a week and a half away! Time flies when you are busy. While I am nowhere near ready for the 25th to be here, I must say I am very excited. I love the traditions of Christmas, and that most of my family is together in the same place for a couple days. I should be working on some secret projects (secret until the 26th of course), but I thought I would take a break and share some holiday cheer with all of you. Here is the card I did for the season to send to my family and friends (watch your mailboxes!) Hopefully I will be able to take my skates out this season like my friend here! Happy Holidays everyone!
